My name is CJ (she/they). I am passionate about art, community, and User Interface/Experience Design.
In May 2020 I graduated from Columbus State with my BS in Computer Science focusing primarily on Website Development. While attending Columbus State, I learned marrying my passions for art, community, and technology was possible. Since then, I've been working to expand my knowledge and experience in pursuit to making a greater impact in the digital world through UI/UX.

Shortly after graduating, I interned remotely through a San-Diego based software development start-up as a Coding/Experience Design Intern. Previous to this, I was employed at Kennesaw State University as a Senior Technical Learning Experience Designer within the University Information Technology Services'  Technology Outreach department  (TO - UITS). At Kennesaw State, I also served the campus community as a Faculty/Staff Fraternity and Sorority Life Advisor and received a Graduate Certificate in Digital and Social Media.

Currently, I am preparing to receive my MS in Human-Computer Interaction at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In this program, I serve as a student lead for the Visual Design and the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI)  teams. In addition to this, I am working part-time at ServiceMaster Brands as a User Experience Research and Designer.
In my free time, I volunteer as an advisor for the Columbus State chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi in Academics, Ritual, and DEI. I also enjoy crafting, making music, and spending time outdoors. As of late, I've been learning how to crochet and have tried my hand at day hiking!

I hope you enjoy your visit to my site!
